Mission: The goal of the American-Danish Business Council is to increase trade and direct investments between the United States and Denmark.  The Council seeks to promote mutual co-operation and better working relationships between the two countries, and to increase the visibility of Denmark and specifically Danish businesses in the U.S. and American businesses in Denmark. The Council seeks to promote the exchange of experience and ideas on economic, policy and trade issues that affect both the United States and Denmark, such as:


  • Exports to and investments in the United States and wider Baltic Sea area;
  • Information technology and e-business;
  • Legal issues, product liability, standards, certification and approvals, taxes, intellectual property issues;
  • Branding and pricing issues;
  • Human resources and intercultural issues; and
  • Business and government contacts and partnerships.          

      


Membership:
American corporations and associations with business interests and/or strategic affiliations in Denmark and Danish corporations and associations with business interests and/or strategic affiliations in the United States. Member Services includes:

  • Ongoing communications regarding issues central to U.S.-Danish trade;
  • Regular event series with leading government and business leaders from the two countries;
  • Trade missions to Denmark and the United States;Clearinghouse for current information on U.S.-Danish trade issues;
  • Outstanding network opportunities for companies and organizations;
  • Government and congressional liaison; and
  • Website
