The demand for new and improved healthcare products is growing and will even more so as the baby boom generation’s need for healthcare will increase in the coming years. The American healthcare system operates on the worlds biggest market and has gained valuable knowhow. Danish companies on the other hand produce worldleading pharmaceuticals and medico products. There is therefore a big potential for further trade and experience-sharing between the US and Denmark. The American-Danish Business Council creates the necessary contact between public institutions and private companies from both countries to exploit this potential.
