Because of the weather event recently in Charleston, the organizers are offering the International Energy Policy and Economic Development Forum on November 19, 2015 at the Trident Technical College’s Complex for Economic Development in North Charleston, S.C. – instead of the larger Summit that was planned. The Summit has been postponed to next year.
The Forum is the result of a partnership between SCCEBA, Clemson University Restoration Institute (CURI), American Danish Business Council and the Royal Danish Embassy. This partnership will build upon shared experiences in South Carolina and Denmark and present ideas and opportunities to bolster the advanced energy industry and consider the economic impacts of a changing climate.
Mr. Søren Hermansen of Denmark’s Go 100% Renewable Energy Program and Mette Lassesen of Ramboll are our featured speakers for the Forum. Mr. Hermansen is an internationally acclaimed clean energy advocate, who most notably, worked to establish the Samso Energy Academy on a 100% clean energy powered island in Denmark. Mrs. Lassesen has led a number of strategy and business development initiatives – most lately the development of Ramboll’s approach towards sustainable and livable cities.
I believe your presence at the Forum will add to the collective dialogue and yield in positive and actionable results.
If you would like to register, you may simply RSVP to me directly or go online here.
I look forward to your participation in this event.
