Ambassador hosts Danish Minister of Business and Deputy Assistant Secretary Tasharski for a roundtable dinner with ADBC members

The Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs is in the United States this week for a week of promoting Danish exports, with visits in Boston, Washington D.C. and California.
In Boston the Minister visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology to learn more about how they transform their students’ ideas into innovative businesses, and how it can be used in a Danish context, to help Danish innovation and entrepreneurship.

ADBC Roundtable Dinner

The Minister then travelled to D.C. to visit to attend a roundtable dinner with several D.C. based ADBC members, hosted by the Ambassador, together with Dale Tasharski, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia at U.S. Department of Commerce.
With representatives from leading Danish and American business, discussions during the dinner focused on the important bilateral commercial relationship between Denmark and the U.S. Overall it was a night full of meaningful insights that surely will help the Minister promote transatlantic trade and cooperation in the future.
In Washington D.C. the Minister will have a number of meetings with elected officials as well as business representatives. Thereafter, the Minister will to travel to California, to help create interest in offshore wind and help pave the road for a future Denmark-California collaboration on water treatment.
